The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences growing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his personal gain, invading the secret base, attacking the character, and taking all the magical artifacts to auction.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his house’s orders to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as important members in the influential clan could assist the party reach areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to head to Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Explorers and Planners tables.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
